HALO 3 ENDING LEAKED ON WEB...
Spoilers are popping up all over the web about the ending to the most anticipated game in America. My advice, don't dig to deep for the next 6 days if you don't want to spoil the ending. Tons of Halo 3 spoilers and screen shots will be all over the web in the next 6 days to come. Most of the reviewers have received their copies and are already "finishing the fight".

Gears of War is a third person shooter that is no holds barred - blood, guts & glory. I was highly anticipating this title for about a year since the 360 came out. The campaign is one of the best told stories I have played ever through. It features 2 player online co-op, this makes playing through the game so much more fun. The weapons are great. The game play is great. The art direction is outstanding. I played through the campaign 3 times. Once on normal, once on Hardcore, and once on Insane. One aspect I was looking forward to was the online multi-player. At first I really enjoyed the mutiplayer, then a few things ticked me off. You are unable to play ranked death matches with a party of friends. It randomly sets you up with other online players.
I really wish they used the old Halo 2 matchmaking set up. All together this had been the best game on 360 so far (I haven't had a chance to play BioShock yet). Gears of War continues to be the most played 360 game online week after week and was the first Xbox game to dethrown Halo 2 from the #1 spot on Xbox Live. Lets see what happens when Halo 3 comes out in a couple weeks.

I had a few gripes about this game. The first hour of game play is mostly dialog and talking scenes that seem to never end. All the talking would not have bothered me much, but there is no way to skip these boring screens. My other concern was the game goes from a 2-d environment to a 3-d environment with a push of the A button. Picture Super Mario Bros. with nice graphics and game play. When you switch to 3-d it gets lost and doesnt have the same nostalgia as we all remember. As you play you can switch from 4 or 5 different character like princes peach and bowzer. Each character has different abilities and skills that help you run through different environments. All in all, I lost interest about half way through the game and havent picked it back up since May.

If your big into turn based role playing games this game offers nothing new to the genre. It actually takes a step back and says "what mades a good RPG?' and nails it. My main concern so far is the lack of character development and story line. The game play is what you would expect from a turn based RPG. The sounds and battle music are way to repetitive.
